These are some of the descriptions of the Bed and Breakfast Inns
where you are pampered and treated royally. Generally, the host family
resides in the home and provides a friendly, personal touch, allowing you
access to the parlor, library and porches to relax in at your leisure. You are
made to feel as if you're part of the family.
Many of the inns are historic where a very prominent person once lived such
as the Harrisburg Inn at Maiden Rock, Wisconsin. My
husband and I stayed there, giving us the feeling of prominence also as the
home was shared with us. It sat high up in the bluffs along the banks of the
Mississippi River as my rendition of it in watercolor shows.
We felt we had reached the heavens above with the expansive views and
steep rocky cliff below us!
In order to stay at one of the "B & B's", reservations have to be made in
advance and a price to be paid. Your special room or suite will then be
prepared to your liking and arranged for your arrival. You will be greeted with
a warm welcome and a dinner and/or breakfast
in the morning.
God's house in Heaven is in a place of peace, tranquility and beauty, a respite
from the world's unrest. It has many, many rooms
available for each of us. But these magnificent rooms are so costly that no
one is able to pay the price to step foot in them.
"Let not your heart be troubled,' Jesus says, 'If you believe in God, then
believe also in Me,' He continues, 'because I had come from My Father's
mansion to earth, to pay the price for you! I humbled myself for you. There
was no room at the inn for me and my earthly parents when I was born. I
gave my life for you from your iniquities at the cross.
I paid the costly price and made the reservations for your room at the Father's
Heavenly Inn. Then I went up again to My Father's mansion to prepare the
special room for you. At any day, any moment now, I will come back again in
the clouds, announcing by the sound of my trumpet, that your room at the
Great Inn is ready! I will snatch you up with Me, along with the others who are
washed clean by My blood, in an instant! I will usher you to My Father's
Mansion where you will be greeted with much love and acceptance. A lavish
gourmet dinner awaits you in the grand dining room. You will be pampered
and treated royally and included into the Royal family. You will have access to
the parlors and verandas exclaiming the most unimaginable vistas you have
ever seen!"
